Katie Lowes has gained acclaim as the actress who plays "Scandal" for ABC However, her passion for the stage began as a childish passion. Lowes, who was born and raised in Queens (New York), loved performing and singing with her family and her friends. Lowes never lost her love of performing as she matured just like other performers.
