Kari Kari Deanna DeannaKari Samantha Wuhrer is an American actress known as the actress in the series 'Sliders. Also, she is an accomplished singer and released her debut album "Shiny" in 1999. Wuhrer hails from Connecticut. She started singing at the age of a child, and began performing in nightclubs after she turned a teenager. After 13 years of age, she began attending Wooster School for acting to learn and later enrolled at various institutes to study the art of drama. Her screen debut came in the 1986 romance drama 'Fire With Fire.' She debuted on the small screen as an actress 5 years later as the recurring character Joanie on the Fox sitcom "Married... with Children'. Through her three-decade-long career, she has accumulated about the equivalent of 80 TV and film credits. She's appeared in numerous popular films, however she has been referred to by many as the B-movie Queen due to her extensive filmography. Also, she was a model as well as a former MTV VJ. She received the Best Actress Award in 2001 at the New York International Independent Film & Video Festival, for the comedy film Do It For Uncle Manny.
