Taylor-Momsen

Taylor Momsen comes from St. Louis Missouri. She is best known for her role as Jenny Humphrey on the CW series Gossip Girl and as the main singer in the band The Pretty Reckless. Momsen's songs have been featured in television and film shows including How to Be Single Going the Distance, and Two and a Half Men. Taylor Momsen has one younger sister, Sloane Momsen. She was a dancer at the Center of Creative Arts St. Louis. At the age of three, she began her professional acting career with a Shake 'n Bake commercial. Momsen's acting career slowed down for almost three years. Then, she got her first leading part on the WB program Misconceptions. Momsen did also appear at that time in the film Saving Shiloh (2006). She auditioned as well for the lead role in Hannah Montana and was in the top three but the part was awarded the role to Miley Cyrus.
