Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise was an American actress, performer, and a writer. She is most well recognized as Ginger Grant from the TV series Gilligan's Island. The musical Bettle performed in Two's Company was her first acting role on stage in the 50s. In 1956, she got her first big break with a performance on Broadway with Li'l Abner. She also released her first album of music, It's Time For Tina during the same year. Louise began the first phase of her Hollywood career in 1958, in which she portrayed Griselda Walden in God's Little Acre, a film that was dramatic. It was a huge success, and Louise earned the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. In the years prior to this she attended the Actors Studio of New York. Lee Strasberg was her tutor. The next role she starred in was with the year 1964, when she was signed by CBS to portray Ginger Grant in 1964. Louise Balfour managed to juggle between Broadway as well as Hollywood acting as a sombre character contrast to her image of the glamorous model. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. In SG-1 and Sanctuary however she also was a successful television director with various series like Supernatural and The 100. Her birthplace was in Essex on the 28th of August, 1965. She and her family moved to Toronto at the age of three and she continued to live there throughout in the adolescent years and childhood. Samantha Carter was chosen in 1997 for the role, and has remained there ever since.
